Meerkat Press to Publish Kathe Koja’s SKIN in March 2025

We are thrilled to announce Meerkat Press will be publishing the first new print edition in over 20 years for a classic of queer body horror, SKIN by Kathe Koja. The book will include a new introduction by Eric LaRocca and will release in March, 2025.

Tess, a sculptor, and Bibi, a dancer, come together to create a new underground art form of metal and flesh, but their new art drives them deeper and deeper into a realm of obsession.

“A dark and frightening work by a major talent whose prose reads like a collaboration between Clive Barker and William S. Burroughs. Highly recommended.”

Library Journal

“The language Koja employs is fresh and astonishing, harsh yet beautiful.”
