Behind the Mask

$16.95eBook: $8.95
Behind the Mask is a multi-author collection with stories by award-winning authors Kelly Link, Cat Rambo, Carrie Vaughn, Seanan McGuire, Lavie Tidhar, Sarah Pinsker, Keith Rosson, Kate Marshall, Chris Large and others. It is partially, a prose nod to the comic world—the bombast, the larger-than-life, the save-the-worlds and the calls-to-adventure. But it’s also a spotlight on the more intimate side of the genre. The hopes and dreams of our cape-clad heroes. The regrets and longings of our cowled villains. That poignant, solitary view of the world that can only be experienced from behind the mask. More info →

A striking novel. – Publisher’s Weekly (Starred review)

Rosson is a talent to be watched, and Riptide is one of the most immersive fictional settings in recent memory. – Jason Heller, NPR

. . . Rosson’s voice is sure; his characters are vividly, heartbreakingly human in their flaws and foibles and relationships; and his plot rolls relentlessly along, growing ever more nerve-wracking until the final, completely unsettling chapter. – Amy Wang, The Oregonian

“An exquisitely honed, beautifully written novel.” – Foreword Reviews (5/5 hearts)

Meerkat Press to Publish Seb Doubinsky’s Missing Signal

Published by:

With the recent acquisition of worldwide English rights to Seb Doubinsky’s Missing Signal, from Matt Bialer at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates, 2018 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for Meerkat Press.

Missing Signal could be described as a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside a government conspiracy. Agent Terrence Kovacs has worked so long at the Counter-Intel Department propagating fake UFO stories that he’s unsure where fact meets fiction when he is contacted by aliens.

Seb Doubinsky is a bilingual writer born in Paris in 1963. His novels, all set in a dystopian universe revolving around competing cities-states, have been published in the UK and in the USA. He currently lives with his family in Aarhus, Denmark, where he teaches at the university.
