Join us at Powell’s on 2/21/18 with Keith Rosson (Smoke City, The Mercy of the Tide) in conversation with Cat Rambo (Beasts of Tabat). Keith’s new novel, Smoke City, follows two unlikely companions, Mike Vale, self-destructive, alcoholic artist, and Marvin Dietz, Portland record store owner and remorseful reincarnation of Joan of Arc’s executioner, as they travel to LA through a landscape populated with “smokes,” (ghostly apparitions that have begun appearing in the Southwest).
Keith Rosson is the author of the novels The Mercy of the Tide
(2017, Meerkat Press) and Smoke City (2018, Meerkat Press).
His short fiction has appeared in Cream City Review, PANK,
Redivider, December, and more. An advocate of both public
libraries and non-ironic adulation of the cassette tape, he can
be found at keithrosson.com.
